Gym Project: Fixing the Bike

My home  gym has a stationary bicycle. I am a tall guy and the bicycle isn't tall enough for me. The seat needs to raise three inches higher than its maximum. I am taking advantage of the gym project to address this problem.

The first thing I did was to remove the seat of the bike.
Next, I attached coupling nuts so I can extend the length of the bolts.
Next came the bolt extenders,
I needed a 3"x6" block of wood, which I did not have so I made one.
Next I bolted on the stem.
And now the bicycle seat is 3" higher!
