Gym Project: Paint

The major goal of the Gym Project is to hang a new TV on the home gym's wall. Last update we hung drywall and caulked it.

With the caulk dry, we are ready to paint. Luckily I still have paint left from when I originally painted the room because I don't need much. I will start with some basic tools.

Paint can opener (top) and a paint stirrer that attaches to my drill.

The paint has been siting around a while so a stir stick and a drill powered paint stirrer mix the paint as if it were new.

It is a small area, so, a smaller roller is perfect.

Then it is a matter of applying a thick coat. I am using paint and primer that will help with sticking to the drywall, and help cover the purple drywall paper.

Once the paint dries I will be ready to hang the TV bracket.
